A Star in the MICHELIN Constellation

Arnaldo Azevedo, Chef at Vila Foz Restaurant, received his first star awarded by the MICHELIN Guide Spain and Portugal in 2022. In 2023, he renewed this award, thus confirming recognition of the quality, creativity and work of the Vila Foz Restaurant and its kitchen.

The Chef

The style is youthful and relaxed, but the focus is targeted and irreproachable. There’s an irreverence in the attentive eyes of Chef Arnaldo Azevedo that results in the boldness of his recipes.

It all started with a family business, where he discovered his passion for cooking. Son of a Chef with whom he shares the name and the calling, he takes his first steps in the family restaurant before deciding to join the Culinary Course at the Santa Maria da Feira Hotel School. Other experiences that helped shaping his path and set his personality in the kitchen followed. He arrives at Vila Foz Hotel & Spa after a steady, creative a promising trajectory, being responsible for both the Vila Foz and Flor de Lis Restaurants.

In a room next to the main hall, at the bar facing the Vila Foz kitchen, this is an exclusive and unique experience for two. Get ready for something memorable in the company of Chef Arnaldo Azevedo. Besides cooking exclusively for you, the Chef will tell you stories of the dishes and flavors you will be tasting. An involving, creative, personalized moment. In an engaging setting, the Chef surprises you with the exclusivity of his food, in a bold sequence of suggestions perfectly paired with the best wines.
